“I get to call the most beautiful being on this earth mine.”

her side:
It was such a crazy day! We had decided last minute to get married and planned a wedding in two months. With that short notice our favorite man, George, was booked the day of our wedding so we had planned to do our portraits with George the day after the wedding. This actually turned out to be a really great idea because I had since decided I wanted to take water pictures and that would’ve been too crazy the day of the wedding. Turns out it was still crazy the day after. The night before we set our session for a sunset shoot at 6pm but what we didn’t factor in was the time change, we had lost an hour of daylight! My husband and I had a hotel that was 30 minutes from the beach we were shooting at. George had texted me at 4:20 to remind me about the time change so actually sun set was at 5:30. I had just hoped out of the shower and my husband, Bryson, was still chilling on the bed. So immediately I started running around the room yelling for Bryson to get ready, I threw some curls in my hair, threw all my makeup in a bag, jumped into my dress, grabbed my shoes and Bryson and I ran out of the hotel barefoot. We get into the car and zoom 30min down the road. I’m doing my makeup in the car, Bryson’s doing his hair and we were literally racing the sun. We get there with 20 minutes left of sunlight. We hop out of the car and we ran to the beach as fast as we could. Immediately George just started taking photos. We were posing and walking. It was CRAZY. We get in the water to take the last photo and I could not stop laughing because we are trying to hurry and get this pose but the waves would crash into us and knock us over. It was the quickest photo shoot ever but the most exhilarating. We had a blast and our pictures turned out phenomenal! It couldn’t have been a more perfectly imperfect day.
his side:
Normally when watching a sunset, you would think the sun sets slow. But when you’re racing the sun, time, and a trooper, things can get pretty interesting. We made it to the beach just with 20 minutes before dark, and The work was done from there. Not only did our pictures come out bomb, but we had fun while doing it.
“The water was cold, but she’s worth it.”
“He made me feel like the most beautiful bride.”
“Jesus knew what I needed. I’m just glad he allowed it to be.”
“He held me so tight as the waves crashed into us and I knew this is why I married him. No matter what crashes into us he would always protect me.
